Generations ago, an ancient dragon god, Kaelorath, was bound within the sky to halt his rampage of destruction. To ensure his eternal imprisonment, a high sorceress wove a crystalline veil across the sky, shielding the world from his wrath. In Blood for the Raven, the main trio doesn’t fight demons with their voices. They fight them in a blood-soaked arena, their battles fueling the seal that keeps the demon realm from spilling into the FMC’s. In this advanced society, their blood, sweat, and the roaring adoration of the crowd are what keep the seal closed.
The FMC’s greatest rival is a demon like Jinu, except he seduces her outside the arena, blurring the line between enemy and temptation.
The women hail from three distinct houses, each ruled by Elders whose bloodlines stretch back to the creation of the seal.
This is a story of forbidden love, self-acceptance, redemption, and sacrifice.
